The TRUFLO functions by diaphragm action brought about by a change in differential pressure created by a flow through a calibrated nozzle.The movement of the diaphragm is used to operate a microswitch.
Constaflo Valves
The CONSTAFLO is a simple water flow controller using a
patented device that ensures the maintenance of flow rates within +/- l0% of its rated capacity when operating within the limits of temperature and pressure shown on data sheet.

To provide protection against harsh environments such as those experienced offshore, MCL's flexible systems have an elastomeric membrane coating which has been tested to DIN53436H.
MCL's seal and enclosure systems are independently tested following the hydrocarbon fire time vs. temperature curve for a period of two hours in accordance with the Department of Energy Specification - Issue 1: 1990, adopting the appropriate procedures of the exchange of notes and the International Conference on the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), as amplified by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).
Throughout testing, MCL's systems have maintained their integrity, stability and insulation properties and accordingly carry certification issued by either Lloyds Register or Det Norske Veritas.
In addition to fire testing, the Firetex range of penetration seal systems have been subjected to independent blast over pressure testing and have proved their ability to maintain stability and integrity in blasts of up to 1.3 bar g.
